ACL Services launches ACL Version 9.1, providing the global audit community with enhanced data analysis capabilities to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their audits.
Available on the ACL Desktop and ACL Server Editions, ACL Version 9.1 now introduces the ability to import PDF data, one of the most widely used formats for distributing business information today. More than 200 million PDF documents exist on the web today, and over 1.5 billion tax forms have been downloaded in PDF since 1996 evidence of the number of organizations that rely on PDF-captured information.
PolCAAT'2007
SKG, the ACL Channel Partner in Poland, was a co-organiser with IIA Poland - and sponsor of the Maximizing Audit Efficiency seminar which took place in the Radisson SAS Centrum Hotel in Warsaw, on the 21st of November. The event was an opportunity for over 100 audit professionals from companies and public administration to hear about current trends in audit and discuss the benefits of audit analytics technology.
In addition to presentations on general audit issues, the attending auditors heard real-life case studies. Marcin Laskowski, of the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, spoke of the process of implementing the solution for automated data verification and Lukasz Fibakiewicz, from Kredyt Bank – KBC Group, illustrated how bank audit departments can benefit from implementing transactional data analyses with ACL. The conversation was lively and the attendees had many questions of the presenters.
In response to requests for more opportunities for customers to share ideas with one another, ACL Services Ltd. announce the launch of the ACL User Group Support Site. This site will serve as a resource for ACL users to connect with each other, start or join an ACL User Group, and network within their local communities.

For the second year in the row SKG S.A. was co-organizer and participated in Seminar dedicated to usage of new computer technologies in Audit. Second Autumn Seminar Effective Audit, in this year joint with event PolCAAT'2006 took place on the 9th November 2006 in Warsaw. Almost hundred of participants representing private companies and public institutions had opportunity to be acquainted with current trends in scope of auditors work with computer tools support as well as to exchange the opinions and experience.
